Omnipotence in a nutshell

Walking down the street one day, you see a Man Cow, and as it passed, it said, “Hello”. This is a major possibility due to stem cells and cloning. Genetics is the study of human, plant, and animal DNA; as a result, stem cell research relates to this field. One example of stem cell research is that a scientist deliberately1 restored the feeling to a patient who had been paralyzed for two years or more by harvesting his stem cells and putting them back into his body. DNA plays an important role in discovering cures for diseases, in cross breading animals, and in aiding in the creation of new functional nerves for someone who has been paralyzed.

My perception of a science “geek” is that they are unattractive, have acne covered faces, and have a horrible case of dandruff. Leslie is the exact opposite of that, she is a very attractive five foot seven inch, 110-pound, brunette. When she walks in the room, it is almost like someone turned on a bright light and threw a bouquet of freshly cut Jasmine into the air.

What is genetics all about?” “Genetics is the study of DNA." Leslie has been studying the prominent2 field of genetics, for the past four years. I have observed her on many occasions studying, and it appears as thou

Questions about DNA lead me to my next topic, cloning. “Do you know how to clone?” Her response was “I learned the procedure that was used to clone DNA and the famous sheep, Dolly, but have not personally cloned anything yet.” “Dolly is a great example, but how was she created?” “It was an excruciating3 process, but here it is in laymen terms. A cell is taken from the downer female. An unfertilized egg is taken from a second female. The DNA from the cell is removed and transferred to the egg. The egg is implanted into a surrogate mother. The resulting baby is genetically identical to the original donor.” A clone is not an exact replica of the original, but just a much younger identical twin. The reason I asked this question is because cloning is a very important part of stem cell research.

“What kind of work is out there for a Genetics graduate?” The response given “There is a world of opportunities in the medical field working with human DNA as well as animals and plants.” While researching, I found a few jobs that Leslie, if interested, would be able to apply for upon graduation. First, she could always become a genetics teacher at any college, if she had her credentials. Also there are many lab positions open for her, and this seems a bit more fea
