I am a very motivated person with goal setting, time management and prioritising skills that help me achieve what I aim to do. My current goal is to attend university and attain a degree in either science or the arts.

I am applying to university to continue the development of my critical learning skills and to broaden my knowledge base. I feel I am now ready to complete a degree, and understand what is required to function successfully in a tertiary environment.

Setting goals and prioritising tasks is something I have learned in the past four years. On leaving school I aimed to leave the small rural town I was bought up in and move to the city to find gainful and rewarding employment. I managed to achieve this through being persistent and applying problem solving strategies.

My first position was as a manager in a Physiotherapy Practice ( see attached reference) I was in charge of running the practice, answering all phones, conversing with patients,
