I pride myself in being a good friend, an athlete and a student. These are three important and meaningful things in my life that make me a well-rounded person. As a friend I am not only there to listen but I am there to talk. My friends can always come to me not only for problems but laughs. We can make any boring situation fun and memorable. As a friend I am also very forgiving and hate to fight. This works to my advantage because my stubborn friends hate admitting they are wrong so I always end a fight; a fight I usually never intended on starting. As much as I would love to focus solely on my social life I know that school is most important. As a student I think it is good that I am not a perfectionist. If I were I would not be able to spend time with my friends or doing anything else because I would focus only on school. I know where I stand as a student, and it is extremely high seeing how I have so much other things in my life to focus on. . I know that as long as I work my hardest and strive for the best my parents and I will be proud.
Lacrosse is not only an interest or a hobby to me; it’s more of an obsession. Graduating from a New England prep school where athletics dominate everything, sports became very important in my life.
