The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God Himself, a person with whom you can have a personal relationship. The Holy Spirit is the one who the Lord gave us to guide, direct and teach the church, and us. (John 14:16) The Holy Spirit is the inner voice that tells us something is wrong with our life. That inner voice is a blessing from God, who loves us enough to show us our error. The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity. There is one God who is manifested in three persons, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

„h The Holy Spirit is omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-10)

„h The Holy Spirit is omniscient (1 Cor 2:10-11)

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins, shows God¡¦s wrath to produce Godly fear, and shows us the way to God¡¦s salvation through Jesus Christ.

And finally the Holy Spirit is the promise of Jesus Christ. (John 16:7; John 14:17;

1 Cor 2:12; 1 Cor 3:16; Acts 2:38-39)

The Holy Spirit is very active in the lives of human beings today. He is very active in the lives of the unsaved as well as the saved. Without the presence of the Holy Spirit mankind has no hope. We


God¡¦s mark of ownership is the sealing in the Holy Spirit. You belong to God. Bought and paid for with the mighty blood of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is also ¡§the guarantee¡¨ of our inheritance. (Eph 1:14) The Holy Spirit teaches us (John 14:26) helps us learn and helps us to understand the Scriptures. He brings the Scriptures to light so that we may be fed. The Holy Spirit gives and sustains spiritual life and ministry. We must daily walk in the Spirit and He gives us the ability to work in a ministry. It is the Holy Spirit who changes us into the glory of Christ. (2 Cor 3:18) It is the Holy Spirit who washes, sanctifies and justifies us in the eyes of God. (1 Cor 6:11, Heb 9:14)

and 2) It is essential to the believer¡¦s service. (Acts 4:31, 9:17, 20)

Eph 5:18 teaches three things about the Holy Spirit¡¦s filling:

The Holy Spirit directs us, protects the church, edifies, exhorts, and comforts us. The Spirit wants to bring you to a greater appreciation of God and His love for you, to reveal Jesus Christ and His work for you, to urge you to do what you know you should, and to bring healing to your painful wounds.

Teach and remind you ¡V John 14:26

One of the greatest works of the Holy Spirit is the sealing of the believers. (Eph 1:13-14)

The Holy Spirit guides us in the direction God wants for us. (Rom 8:14)
