A young FBI agent named Clarice Starling who is played by Jodie Foster is a trainee for the FBI academy. She is asked to partake in a journey to find a missing woman as well as trapping the psychopathic serial killer who is known as Buffalo Bill. Buffalo Bill is a man who is mostly bewildered by his own sexual identity which therefore drives him to commit the evil acts towards women who are mostly large in size. During this time, FBI agent named Jack Crawford asks Clarice Starling to talk to Hannibal Lecter who is played by Anthony Hopkins to help her with this case. Hannibal Lecter used to be a well respected psychiatrist until he has committed many murders which eventually led him to jail.

As a viewer, we can¡¯t really blame Buffalo Bill for what he has done. It is his fault for killing innocent lives, however once in his lifetime; he was most likely the victim for the society itself. It could be a possibility that we as the people made him into what he has turned out to be, and that is really the horrifying part of all.

Lecter imposes on her eventually leads her closer to the finding of the victim as well as Buffalo Bill.

It seems to me that Lecter purposely wanted to see Clarice Starling succeed in what she was doing, therefore allowing herself to be confident and loose the fear of the sounds of the lambs she has in her mind since she was very little.

The second victim I pictured was Jame Gumb or Buffalo Bill. Buffalo Bill however is a special type of victim. He isn¡¯t depicted as someone else¡¯s victim, but rather he is a victim of his own self. He is lost in his own self, and has a difficulty accepting the person he is. Buffalo Bill has a tremendous amount of rejection and hatred done to him in his past that has left a mark on him. Because of this reason and how he was confused by his own sexual identity, he believes that if he skins the women and dresses up in a women¡¯s suite, he is automatically transformed into a women.
