Reflection of a Song

 
 
Song of Solomon has been a most interesting book. There were some really twisted stories going on in there. I didn’t really feel the book was powerful or really spoke much to me in any sense. The story was really interesting and following the life of Milkman was fun to read about however I did not feel much of a message that spoke out to me from the book other than just whatever was written on the pages. I did not really discover any hidden meaning that maybe others did.

I guess I have made a connection with the story by sort of finding a connection with Milkman and myself. Milkman seems to not care much about his life for the longest time. He just partied and bullshitted everyday. He had no real purpose and was just living off his father. Eventually
