America is the most respected and hated country in the world. We thrive in business and technology. We are always on the verge of something great. People come from far and wide to start a life on our rich, humble, American soil. Are we so special because we were founded on morals of honor and integrity? I say no. Our founding fathers were nothing like we’re taught to believe. In 1777 the British tried to wipe out the colonists revolt, but surprisingly the colonists were resilient and actually hung in there. The Battle of Valley Forge was, in my opinion, the turning point in the war, and proved that George Washington was one of the best Generals around and was capable of leading his men to victory because of his uncanny way of holding his men together and keeping them united.
