Affects of the Economy on Child CareDuring the last few decades there has been a major change in the way America looks at childcare, and the main reason is due to the new diversity in family structure. Another reason for the change in childcare is due to the addition of both parents in the workplace because of the falling economy. The well-being of the children should be the up most important factor to a parent, even if that means giving up his or her job, resulting in a lower income, in order to stay at home to tend to the needs of the children. Unfortunately too many families have no other option than to leave their children in the care of a childcare center in order to be able to provide for the financial needs of the family.
