An Arrogant Society

It is the American way to make all efforts to become better than others. Promoting these efforts, capitalism has made the country run smoothly for over 200 years. In education, one strives for perfection in hopes of going to an expensive college to get a high paying job. In business, one is out to make the most money, so they can buy the most goods, and live life to its fullest. In retirement planning, one wants to be able to live well, and be content, after they no longer have a steady income. Life is capitalism, and capitalism is life. The ongoing circles of life, and the pursuit of happiness, make it an absolute success when one is able to be arrogant, as they are better than others. From young to old, with the successes along the way, personal pride is developed more so, as pride can rarely be developed without victories of some sort for one’s moral. Arrogance is next in line. Taking some longer than others, personal pride often fuels haughty behavior. American society promotes this cycle. American society promotes arrogance.
