In England, a pretty peaceful place- not too much conflict arose until the middle ages. Barbarians’ invasion occurred also along with the Roman Empire and his fall. In England there was a lot of insecurity going on so Catholicism and Feudalism was spread as remedies because there was fear and poverty. Times were becoming so hard that people started giving up their lands and labor to the warlords so that they would receive support and shelter. Wars broke out along with a plague, forcing the peasants to serf and to accept the suzerainty of temporal spiritual gods. In England kings were chosen by the barons. King Charles I was beheaded. But before most of this democratic principles started on the island of England and it became a conflict.
