Explication on movie

American Movie Critics chose " Citizen Kane" as the greatest movie of all time. Citizen Kane was perceived to be a classic tale of the rich not being so rich without love. He lost a dear love that no money could ever replace and through the whole movie people try to figure out what he meant by "rosebud."

From box office ticket sales, "Titanic" is the greatest movie of all time. The tale of forbidden love is the usual target for the making of a good movie. This one was actually based on facts with a twisted love story that could have been somewhat true. It grossed over 500 million dollars. To make so much money and spend the most weeks at number one, this is truly the making of the best, but is it?

Even though Siskel and Ebert help people distinguish between bad movies and Oscar-caliber cinemas, we eventually make up our own mind. I have my own choice of the best movie of them all. In my opinion, " Tombstone" is the crème de la crème of all movies. In Tombstone, the Wild West was ruled by cowboys that had itchy fingers on the trigger. There was a hand full of good guys that would stand up for their townspeople and fight. To this day, you probably wonder how the west was won. As you

wonder about that question, you see during the movie that four men, dressed in long black trench coats, walk directly with the sundown to meet their opposition wearing red sashes. This movie had all the key elements to bring consideration to the notice of all movies in the past, present, and future. Tombstone had action/adventure, a love story for the ages, drama, and suspense. Who would have ever thought such a masterpiece could begin with " Once upon a time in the Wild Wild West."

Characters should very much suit the name given. All the main characters portrayed a realistic feel of what the director wanted out of them. The name Wyatt Earp is destined to be a man on the edge. You would think Wyatt a businessman or Wyatt the legendary adventurer. He showed a deep side for love and a sincere sense for his family, but had no mercy on others that tried to destroy his family. Morgan was kind of simple. Morgan reminded me of a morgue. He was always talking of what death would be like. " It is said that when you die, you see white lights leading you to heaven." Then as he dies, he lets Wyatt know that there are no white lights. Virgil reminds me of a virgin, pure and sweet. He cares about all and if he was going to die, he was going to make sure that it was for a good cause. He would have died for those people and he almost did. What can you say about Doc? Nothing, except, " What's up Doc, can we rock?" He was an easygoing man ready to take a chance on anything. He had love, friendship, and the desire for adventure. Nothing could hold him back. Mattie was not an influential but she reminded me of a doormat. She had no place value when it came to the love of Wyatt. She had no chance to stay on the porch forever with Wyatt because Wyatt never wanted a doormat. He wanted room service at a hotel whenever he pleased, which means for the love of the mistress.

Tombstone is based upon the legend of Wyatt Earp and his band of men searching for significance. During an era of shoot first and ask questions later, the cowboys are new and fresh with no care for law or authority. The movie begins with a scene at a wedding when the cowboys disrupt the festivities. They end up killing the groom and his men. To make matters worse, one of the members of the gang, named Ringo, ended up killing the priest. Once an unforgivable forbidden act of God to kill a priest now seems to no matter to this band of hoods. The cowboys run around in red sashes letting everyone know to be afraid. Then comes some new settlers looking for a new life consisting of stability and non-hazardous ways of living. These brothers are Morgan, Virgil, and Wyatt Earp. Then adding to the pack was a heavy gambler and drinker, who may not have seemed righteous but had a gentle spirit for friendship, was Doc Holliday. He was the only one looking for a fight and not willing to back away, not even for death. They begin to ruffle some feathers of the local cowboys and disrupt the chaos that the cowboys brought with them. Then begins the transition of trying to stay out of the middle of chaos to being directly in the line of fire.

In conclusion, this movie is the best of all time. It presented every aspect of love; it showed a since of adventure and action; and it portrayed to all what friendship should mean to all. As the movie portrayed Wyatt as a hero and legend, he was also a thief. He began as a horse thief to the day being a Marshall. In the movie, they try and explain a l
