Easter island
Easter Island is one of the most isolated islands in the world. 1200 years ago a canoe filled with seafarers from a distant culture landed upon its shores. Over the centuries that followed a remarkable society developed in isolation on the island. For reasons still unknown they began carving giant statues out of volcanic rock. These monuments, known as moai, are some of the most incredible ancient relics ever discovered. Easter Island is one of the world’s most unique inhabited places on the world but its simplicity and un-modernized society is one of a dying breed. Peace and serenity is the reason for my pilgrimage to this wondrous place. Peace is not easily found on the shores of America. Business and the busyness of life in America allow only subtle amounts of peace in one’s life. In order for a long and joyous life we all need extended amounts of peace. In this world there aren’t too many serene places uninfluenced by modernized culture. These places are dying and the entire world is on its way to be modernized. Easter Island is one of a dying breed. Here people can be in peace and tranquility with out the sounds and troubles of commotion that we all experience every day. Easter Island like every other Island is surroun
Tom recently asked a young lady working at the counter of a convenience store; Tom assumed her maiming, made her emotionally unable to continue her employment; if it hurt when that happened and she said "yeah, at first". “So there you have it, it is painful and someone needs to put a stop to it soon.” Tom Replied. Tom was outraged and is going to write an email to Washington, as soon as he can figure how to staple the papers together with out himself being maimed. The other really stupid thing people say when they lose something and then find it is, "How come when you lose something you always find it in the last place you look." Again Chuck lost his keys and his best friend said the above statement, and Chuck replied, “What moron would go on looking for something after finding whatever it was that was lost. Once you find it you quit looking, which makes the last place you look a really good place to stop looking! I guess maybe these morons just keep on looking even though thy have found whatever it was that they were looking for because it is so much fun and then can then say that whatever it was they were looking for was not in the last place they looked?
