Every individual has a right to justice
Every Individual Has A Right To JusticeJustice, it occurs maybe at least once a day in your life, it may be served in your favor, only in a small favor though may it be served to you as in something small like someone accusing you of a matter when you have done nothing wrong and the person accusing you being the culprit and receiving the punishment. ‘The Green Mile’, a movie set around the mid 1900’s about a black man (John Coffee) sent to jail with the death penalty of dieing in the electric chair accused of raping and murdering two young girls. Now in this movie you will see that John is not really given a fair chance to speak for the actions that were seen. Of course the situation John was in when he was found holding the two girls by the father, son and towns people would have looked bad, although he was still not given a fair chance to speak of what had happened. This being because John Coffee was a black man in a time where black people didn’t get much respect at all from white folks, and didn’t get much of a right to justice. Throughout the movie John is portrayed as a ‘gentle giant’ kind of guy. He becomes friends with one of the guards, who start to believe John is innocent. Tow
Abigail had an affair with John proctor when she was hired for help in the Proctor household, Abigail wanted Mrs. Proctor out of the picture so she began making allegations against her calling her a witch, saying she had been practicing witch craft on others in the community accusing her of doing harm to the other towns folk. During these witch trials Abigail continued blatantly lieing to everyone about Mrs. Proctor and other young girls messing around with the Devil’s magic. ards the end of the movie John Coffee shows the guard what really happened on the day he found the two murdered girls through some phenomenonal power that he has. The guard relises that John is innocent, still though doesn’t do anything about it and John Coffee ends up dieing in the electric chair. In this case most individuals did get their fair chance at justice, may it be accusing people of witchcraft but still getting the right to have a trial about it and evidence being brought in, except going off one girls words and actions that were put on to make it seem more dramatic. Giving the girls a chance to try and clear their reasons and actions for being in certain places and explaining what had been seen have a logical explanation behind it. Having probably the most powerful man In the world saying to you “either let us into your country to inspect it for weapons that could be used against us someday, or have your people put up against our army and using force to find out whatever is d
