The texas chainsaw massacre

On August 18, 1973 Erin, Morgan, Kemper, Andy, and Pepper are a bunch of friends coming home from a trip from Mexico trying t o make it in time for a concert that they had bought for. On there way they find a young woman walking in the street with a terrified look on her face. They decide they can’t leave the young woman walking in the street like that so they decide to pick her up and drive her to help. As they are driving the girl be comes more terrified from the fact that they are taking her back to where she was escaping from which was Travis County, Texas. She begins to panic and tells all the of them that everyone’s dead and that they are driving the wrong way. She screams at Kemper to turn around but he wouldn’t listen

Andy. He is the best friend of Kemper. He’s quiet guy that seems to like to keep to himself and is from Arizona. Seems to have a good relationship with Pepper but they are not a couple. He kisses her as if he knew her for years but only knows her for about 1 day. Andy is the second person to be killed by leatherface. He is also caught by leatherface in house wondering around him and Erin come back to the house to look for Kemper and then soon realize that Kemper is dead because of the fact that leatherface is trying to kill them. Erin runs one way and Andy runs another but leatherface follows Andy and Erin gets away. As Andy is running through hung up bed sheets leatherface is chasing him with his chainsaw, leatherface swings his chainsaw and catches Andy’s leg and cuts it right off. He then grabs Andy and takes him to his basement where he hangs him from his back on a meat hook and then puts salt on the wound of his leg and leaves him there to die a slow and painful death.

The first 2 structural elements I will use are conflict and Characterization. Kemper is a young man about 25 years old and is from Arizona. He and girlfriend Erin have been dating and living together for 3 years. He is the driver of the van and is basically holding the responsibility of everyone with him including his girlfriend. He hopes to marry Erin and start a new life with her by this he tries smuggling marijuana across the border without Erin knowing but she later finds out. She complains to him bout getting her a ring and he tells her soon that day will come, in his head that day was supposed to be today. He is the first to be killed in the movie. The maniac whose name is leatherface catches Kemper wondering around his house while Erin was making a phone call to report to girl’s dead body. He is hit with a sledgehammer to the back of the head and is killed instantly. As leatherface is hanging Kemper up something falls out of his pocket and that something is a ring that he was hoping to propose to Erin with that day.

Erin. Erin is a beautiful girl in 20’s from Arizona. Kemper is her boyfriend and what would have been her fiancé. She is the main character of the film. She seems to be the biggest fighter of them all against leatherface. She gets away from him every time she encounters conflict with leatherface. She chops his arm of
