All knowledge is uncertain, inexact and partial

To begin with, it is necessary to define the word knowledge. Knowledge it is a justified true belief. An idea, prove to be true by an explanation or evidence. Most of the times knowledge is created due to curiosity, doubt and investigation that men does, and it depends manly of our senses, interpretation and experiences. Knowledge, can be divided in different kinds. An empirical knowledge, is the knowledge belief true, based on an experience or perception . This can also be define by acquirantance, where you know through your own experience and senses. Knowledge by description is another kind, based on a person’s experience, the credibility of this will depend on the authority of the reporter. There is also an analytical knowledge, as math, which is based on reasoning. Another type of knowledge can be also, value judgment, where you belief something is true basing yourself on moral, ethic and aesthetic values. The last kind of knowledge that we would like to mention, is metaphysical knowledge, as religion, based on emotions and reasoning. Knowledge is a very complex issue, many times it is believed that it creates even more doubts and that we can’t separate appearance of reality. “All, knowledge is uncertain, inexact and pa


Knowledge is inexact, when things can be wrong or not correct. For instance, on Social sciences, as psychologists you can never predict exactly how the patient will react. All humans are different from each other, an it depends on each personality, culture, environment and situation how the person will react. This means that each type of person needs a different criteria, for instance laws are different depending of the country. Even the census which is supposed to be an exact information, it is done in a general way, which doesn’t show the exact result but a probability of it. Nevertheless, the “Exact Sciences” exits, in which most of the times we can obtain an exact result. For example to know how many school mates we have, by counting them, or to calculate the speed of a car. Yet, they have there inexact part. In chemistry, for example, there can be mistakes on the combinations of elements affecting the reaction. Or in physics that there is what is known as “relative errors”, as there are mistakes produce while recollecting information, measuring, weighting and so on.

To round up, we would like to say that after analyzing the quote “All knowledge is uncertain, inexact and impartial”, we wasn’t able to come to a clear conclusion, as we had already predicted.
