Women today have the most opportunities ever when it comes to sports. More and more organizations are being formed and college teams are being created. Things such as Title IX also help women to achieve success in the sporting world. I feel women should have the same rights as men when it comes to the sporting world.

Equality should be a main focus in today’s society. Allowing women the same rights as men in sports is just the right thing to do. However some times equality is stretched too far. Title IX may have helped women out and created a lot of openings for women, however, some colleges are cheating the Title IX policy by simply eliminating male sports. Today some girls are even trying to get on the guys teams. I see no problem with this as long as they are physically strong enough to manage in these sports. However what happens when a male wants to join a female team? In a way this isn’t fair, most males have larger muscles and are able to perform better then women. It’s the way nature made it.
