This is a story about a long, broad chap with very sharp edges, a round front and backside.
Now it’s December. The whole year I have been standing at a dark, scary attic, but now the time has come that I can go outside again and play with my boss.
Before we can go on the long journey we have to make a lot of preparations.
One day my boss took me from the attic and looked at me. He looked at me from all angles, from above, from aside and from beneath. He wrinkled his eyebrows and said: “you are in a bad shape, we have to patch you up before we can go”. Then he grabbed me and placed me into my bag and we went to the ski-shop. He asked a salesman if he could patch me up. The salesman said: “sure, no problem”. That meant that they were going to sharpen my sides and wax my bottom, in that way I will be able to take fast curves and slide with high speed on the snow.
When all these improvements were made my boss looked at me with pride. Now it’s his turn to get ready. Because he had to pack his stuf
That afternoon he put me into the ski cellar of the hotel. There I saw a few friends from last year. Not all of them were in such good shape as I was. They weren’t treated as well as I was by my boss. They were covered in dust and were a bit rusty. We exchanged stories. Someone had been to Austria with Easter and he said that the snow was even better than in this period.
f. Except for his clothes and a deck of cards he also takes with him his special boots, so he can stand firmly on my back.
