Friends are the people who you spend most of your time to hang with. Friendship is the relationship between you and your friends. During a trip to a country park, I experienced how to trust friends. Seven years ago, I was living in Hong Kong, and it was a cloudy Summer Saturday morning. My sister and I joined our friends from our church’s youth fellowship to make a retreat to Shing Mun Country Park.
When we arrived, we could see that the park is full of trees and flowers. Although that was a cloudy day, the view was also great. Comparing with the atmosphere of the polluted cities, the park could be said as like a heaven.
After lunch there, our fellowship leader, Edmund, told us that the country park was surrounding a hill. There was a former mine at the peak. The mine had not been used since Wor
“Not really,” Edmund replied. “We are lost here. Can you tell us which is the right way to get out?”
Finally we all got out from the darkness.
ld War II. It was quite interesting to us. Therefore, we decided to take a look there.
We walked along the zigzag path toward the mine for few minutes and reached the entrance. The small entrance just fit one person only, and it was really dark inside. At the moment, there was a sprinkle, so we got into the mine one by one as quick as we could. I was the last one to get into the mine.
In this sudden trip to the mine, we had learnt how to trust each other more. After this, our friendship became stronger. And we all keep this lovely trip in our mind forever and ever.
