The past century in history has been one of many triumphs. In the past hundred years we have seen man fly, a feat that many was thought impossible till, two mid-western brothers proved many critics and scientists wrong with their historic flight in the Kill Devil Hills of North Carolina. The past forty have given us man setting foot on ground other than that of the earth?s, with the first flight to the moon. We have found cures for diseases that fifty years ago were thought absolute and fatal. And even though I have not witnessed many of these revolutionary events, they have changed mine, and the lives of billions around me.
