Tales of Childhood

Most people who I meet recognise me as a pleasant and well-mannered individual. Nevertheless, in my early days, if someone made the same judgement, the sky would have modified its color to green as pigs outburst from no-where to commence flying. In reality, I was an enthusiastically wild youngster and no other competitor, in our street accomplished greater thrills and adventures than me.

Salmon tins and biscuit tins that were non-essential, such as unoccupied ones were never to be found in perfectly good condition. There lay the dominant hollow tins, which I thought would be stencils for my grand sand castles, and the remnant ones I classified as the stronger tins had their tops blown outwards from the pressure of firecrackers. When my friends visited, we held competitions to witness whose tin achieved peak altitude.

The events that occurred in the following month are engraved into my brain and optimistically, they should remain there till I die, so I don?t forget my wild and amusing childhood.

I have honored this month and nicknamed this month as ?The month of terror.?

Finally, the birthday cake screeched to a halt directly in front of me on the table. The six multi-colored candles sparkled with charm and glory, and waited patiently for my cool breath to conquer the overwhelming heat form the flames. I came towards the candles when suddenly, a pungent odour astonished me deeply. The youngsters who had assembled around the table laughed in mockery, whereupon the adults commanded me to discard the cake and my uncle to bring some water. Momentarily, I felt goosebumps running down my spine, as I was drenched in ice cold water. Soon after the incident, I was informed that I had my hair inflamed from the candles.

Throughout my childhood, I had admired off-road bike riding. The sheer pleasure of riding over the demanding terrain, incorporating cold-hearted granite rocks that desire the passion of damaging my tires, had felt as if I was riding for my life in hell. Nevertheless, I myself became the victim when I fell off my bike onto the solid earth.
