Anne Rice

Anne Rice born in1941 has had a life of intrigue and tormented travels of love, life, work, and sorrow. With every event in her life and as well in ours, the environment around us predicts and molds the out come of which we are and what we do. Anne’s world started in the middle of what life dazzled and left people set beside themselves. This paper is to show those events that made Anne Rice what she has present to the world as herself today.

In 1941, WW II was well on its way. Anne’s family not being of the religious sorts watched the tragic war from New Orleans. At that time General Wavell had occupied Benghazi and England had invaded Abyssinia. The world at that time only knew of what the papers had shed light on. Not until four years later did that war end. The Lend and Lease bill was formed from WWII and at the same time Roosevelt appointed James F. Byrnes and Robert H. Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Being a child at this time, the effects were made on the parents of Anne. Everything had changed and it was a time for a change for them and off to Texas they went. Anne being in the entertainment business, “How Green was My Valley”, by John Ford was written and so was “Blood, Sweat, and Tears” by Winston Churchill
