In 1915 at the Secret Treaty of London Italy had declared war on Germany, in part to the promise by France and Great Britain that Italy would receive the Adratic Coast after the “ Great War”, otherwise known as World War I. This was only the beginning of Italy’s hardships to come in the following years. I am not going to bore you with the facts of World War I because that is not the purpose of this paper, I am going to attempt at making my point of Italy’s mistreatment at the Treaty of Versailles, which led to, in my opinion, the reason for them fighting against the Allies in the second World War.
