The Christian religion is responsible for many of society’s problems, and has been attempting to dominate the world’s religions for thousands of years. The religion does not work towards a better world, but against it, by supporting discrimination and sexism. It has been the basis of wars and violence. Therefore, Christianity is an evil religion.

The leaders of the Christian church didn’t want Christianity to be just a religion. They wanted it to be the only religion (Drew, 7). The early Christian church tried to accomplish this by making other religions seem evil, and scaring people away from them (Drew, 8). Originally, the word “pagan” meant “country-dweller”, equivalent to the words “hick” and “redneck” that are used today (Drew 7). Since most of these country people practiced old, earth-based religions such as witchcraft and druidism, the Christian church applied the word “pagan” to any non-believer (Drew 7).
