            My favorite genres of music are very different than most people would think. Though I like rock and roll as much as anyone, I love any kind of music with a blues or jazz sound. I think that this is because I love the way that the singers sound. You can feel their intensity in the music and tone of their voice and it just makes you feel good. The other genre would be classic big band singers. .
             The first singer that I would like to mention would be Frank Sinatra. I really like his music because it is so classic and seems to only get better with time. He lyrics are timeless and though the style of singers and a big bands may be gone his style and projection is something that I still admire. He has a classic voice and he and uses many different types of colors in he style.
             The second, and probably my most favorite singer and all around band, would be the band Sublime. I love their music. They blend many different styles of music that I have never heard together. The styles are a mixture of rock with a heavy reggae background with blues and old time beach boys style rock. On top of this, the singer Bradley Noel is an amazing singer and he sings with so much soul and blues. His melodies are much different than any other singer. Bradley Noel freely uses every note possible with a sound that comes from deep in his heart that gives you the chills. However, his music career was cut short by a drug overdose the day before he started rehab. .
             Musically my third favorite musician would be Jimi Hendrix. This is because I love the amazing guitar that he plays. He plays the guitar like he was the one that invented it. His intuitive knowledge of music made the music that inspired a generation and left his mark permanently on music history in the few short years that he was around.
             All of these musicians have the style and intensity that was unique to their time and had something that was new for everyone.
