Serial Killers
Serial Killers have been a part of our countries history as far as records date back. The average serial killer is a white male from a lower to middle class background (Scott 4). The killer is usually in his twenties or thirties. Many were physically or emotionally abused by their parents. As children, future serial killers often set fires, tortured animals, and wet their beds. Some are very intelligent while others may suffer from brain damage. They are also very fascinated by police and other authorities. The killer is also usually a stranger to his victim. However, a serial killer, appears to look and behave like a normal person. Every serial killer is an individual; however, they all share the similar traits and habits. Some kill differently than the others. They use different methods. And they target different victims.
