1984
Having studied George Orwells "1984", it discusses the type of government thatis seen by him and to what extent his totalitarian party "Ingsoc", satirizes past leaders of totalitarian leaders such as Hitler. The main theme of 1984 is concerned with the individual freedom by a totalitarian regime. Orwell shows how such a system can put it's will on the people through manipulation of the press, constant supervision by (telescreens, SA) and by developing short films to develop hate for other countries and enemies. Orwell shows how the state has more subtle methods of enforcing authority. Such as the control of the media. Propaganda plays a central role within the Party's infrastructure and is used to gain support for Big Brother.
