HLWE-Imaginative Vs. Practical
Any reader whoever read a few writings by Ernest Hemingway must has heard and noticed his style as the iceberg. The iceberg only reveal a small part of its self above the water while hide the other humongous part beneath that require the viewer to get down to do the exploration which require much time, mind and imagination. “Hills like White Elephants” is one good example. Hemingway uses it to present the difference in characteristic of masculine and feminine through out the characters’ behavior and symbolism.
