In the book Hamlet, by Shakespeare, there are many questions left open to the readers’ interpretation. One of these questions is weather or not Hamlet is truly mad or just acts mad throughout the book. Although it can be argued both ways, it is probable the both occurred. Hamlet may have started out acting mad, but in the end he did not have control over it and he went mad.
