This is a different view than most when you think of the global warming issue. There are several well-known authors and researchers that believe the issue has been misleading and have tried to get their view out for the world to hear, but it has been to modest avail. John L. Daly from Britain has been working for years on the greenhouse effect and has come to some intriguing conclusions. To paraphrase Daly,

This is a common sentence found in global warming articles, “The . . .sea level has risen between ten and twenty-five centimeters since the late nineteenth century . . . attributable to global warming” (Barbour 100). The ocean has risen ten to twenty-five centimeters in the last century (EPA Global Warming Site). So why is it that scientists have insisted that the water level rises about 20cm every 100 years? A new study has taken the use of satellites in the research of the sea level. That study has concluded, “Precipitation has increased by about 1 percent over the world's continents in the last century” (EPA Global Warming Site). It is confusing when there are highly trusted ways of measuring it that conflict in data.
