I Know What You Did Last Summe
The Beginning- The beginning of I Know What You Did Last Summer was very suspenseful. Julie James and her three friends haven't been the same since last summer. It begins with kind of a flashback of four teenage friends who were coming home from a bar one night. They had all been drinking and smoking pot, and were all a bit hyped. So, as they're driving down a long, winding road, they accidentally hit a kid on his bike. They decide that they would keep the accident a secret, and just left the boy there. The boy dies, and all four of the teens feel so horrible and insecure, but they know that their secret cannot be told, so they form a pact. One year goes by, and a lot of thing change. The friends kind of split up. Ray goes to California, and Julie stays at home with her mother. Helen becomes a famous television broadcaster, and Barry goes to the local college. Julie, the most insecure, gets a letter in the mail that says "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER". At first she thinks it’s some sort of a coincidental joke- but then she gets worried. All of the friends meet back up and turns out that lately, all of them have gotten the threat notes.The Plot- One summer after the four friends hit the boy with their car, th
A Sequel To The Book- There already is a sequel to this book called "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." The movie for it is awesome and I'm sure the book is excellent also. The sequel kind of continues where this book left off and has Collie's father after them on a deserted vacation spot. It is really creepy because about 15 people die. The Main Character- The main character in this story would have to be Julie James. Even though there were all four friends, she had the lead role because of her insecurity. She was always wondering whether someone was watching her, or if somebody knew about the secret. She had wanted to go back and help the boy after the accident, but she was overruled by the other three. She almost broke up the pact too. She has had the hardest time coping with what she had done and she couldn't get over herself. Julie James was also Ray's girlfriend, but after the tragic accident, they parted ways. Overall, I think the book "I Know What You Did Last Summer" was excellent. I would recommend it to everyone and I can't wait to read the sequel.
