This paper includes information about the five best and five worst countries. It includes statistics to show where the country stands among the rest of the countries in the world and it also includes characteristics that support the reasoning of the five best and five worst countries that were selected.

The criteria that is included in this research paper is five characteristics of the five best and five worst countries in the world. The characteristic that has the most utmost importance is education. Educations statistic is calculated by the average years attended in school in males, females and the average of both. Illiteracy is another characteristic that also is important, due to the link it has with education. This is calculated by a percentage of males and females that is illiterate in the population of the country. The next characteristic that was selected was the infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births. The fourth characteristic for this paper is life expectancy at birth. Which is measured by years in males, females and an average of both. Population below poverty line is the final characteristic that was chosen for this paper. This statistic is calculated as a percentage of total population b


The education total for Belgium is 15.8 years attended, 15.9 years attended for males and 15.8 years attended for females. Education is a must for children aging from 7 to 16. They are taught many different subjects. Such as history, math, science, reading, writing, and spelling. These subjects are very important to them. The illiteracy rate, in Belgium, is a total of 2% in men and women. The people are taught reading, writing, and spelling so that is the reason for the low illiteracy rate. Belgium’s infant mortality rate is the lowest in the world at 4.64 deaths per 1,000 live births. There is an unlimited supply for nutrition and the needed supplies for children. There are plenty of hospitals for anyone who needs it. In Belgium, the life expectancy rate is 74.8 years for men, 81.62 years for females and 78.13 years total. As far as life expectancy goes, due to nutrition and nursing homes the life expectancy is higher than most countries. There are nursing homes for elderly people who can’t take care of themselves. This eliminates most of the unnecessary deaths of elderly people. The average population below poverty line is 15% of the total population of Belgium. The unemployment rate is really low. This is due to the increasing employment opportunities.
