Friday and Saturday evenings. Both nights are special in their own because their are no worries for the following day. Everyone thinks about it. They wait for it and anticipate its coming every Monday morning. Two days with no responsibilities. What a relief. No school, no work, no challenge that will stop you from doing absolutely nothing but enjoy the passing time. The only thinking involved on these days are how to enjoy the best of the this time. To make it fun and exciting. A good question would be, "What are the late night plans going to involve"? Go bowling, go see a movie, or there is always going out to dinner. Very limited choices, but the truth is there is not that much more to do. Of course doing these activities always involves money. With that, not only does it cost but it can add up. So what does the majority of the nation’s adolescent teenagers do on the boring evenings of no worries and responsibilities that is cheap and easy. A social get together. Just to make sure it doesn’t get boring add alcohol. Otherwise known as a "Party!", these events objections: to socialize and get drunk just because there is nothing else better to do. Maybe it would be a little bias to say the majority of this
I have a deep concern about this behavior. The behavior of going out to parties and drinking. Without a doubt concerned also with the behavior of being under the influence. Peoples lack of good judgments. I see teens going to these parties and drinking and I see their hormones get out of control. Doing things they would never do with out the drug of alcohol. Things so extreme to the point of cheating on commitments. Commitments to their significant other. Something so extreme yet looked at as no big deal. Just another weekend event, talked about all the next day or even the whole week until the next one. The judgments teens make while intoxicated can be life threatening which is a concern to me. Driving drunk is a very dangerous thing to do. From what I have seen it happens more than I realized. It hurts me to see people I know making these decisions. A decision that could change life from death. It is this that, that brings thought to my mind as why they must do this.
nation is participating in this unjust, illegal, and unfaithful activity. To my opinion, from what I have seen and heard, I feel that it is the majority of teens who are drinking, and it is a personal and should be a national concern. Unfortunately it is affecting me.
My peers drinking has affected me in more ways than one. When I was in the sixth grade, my grade and all other sixth grades were taught a class named D.A.R.E. This class taught about drugs and alcohol, their effects on the body, and how dangerous they could be. This program was designed to prevent usage by the students then and in the future. For some reason I felt that the D.A.R.E. class touched me in a way it hadn’t to others. It was the fact that I personally knew
