Claudius was represented as a murderer but in fact was not a criminal. He is a kind a gentle king that has been mixed up in king Hamlet’s murder because he became king before prince Hamlet. Everything would have been fine with Claudius he prince Hamlet did not go on a rampage trying to kill Claudius. Understandably Claudius would drive away Hamlet because he was lead to believe that Hamlet was planning something against him. Apart from driving Hamlet away to Winndelburg, Claudius cannot now be blamed for his later actions. He had been force to take those decisions to protect his life. Hamlet is a mad and very confused person who consciously and unconsciously kills everyone. After the death of King Hamlet, Hamlet feels what it is like to go through a lot of change. Once his mother marries about a month later, Hamlet is set into a fit. Full of anger and hate, Hamlet wants to do some terrible things. Many actions fill Hamlet with anger causing him to be mad throughout the play. He talks to himself while thinking about suicide, plots on how to kill Claudius, and treats people a lot different than usual in a dreadful way. This makes Hamlet a very dangerous person. He murdered his love of Ophelia by making her insane of his love and walking away. He has even shown delights in being cruel to Claudius just thinking about torturing and killing him for what he thinks has happened. He even wishes to wring his mother’s heart, trying to make her see that her present husband had killed king Hamlet. He would even destroy their marriage over something a ghost had said to him when in fact it could have came from his head because of all the denial. He does not even think about other peoples’ feelings and thoughts, only his own. Hamlet is the evil in the state of Denmark. And his mental thoughts represent as poison or an infection towards other people, like acid eating into metal. They are helpless against Hamlet and fall one after the other, like victims of an infectious disease. They are strong with the strength of their health but Hamlet’s mind is much stronger. They try to get him out of their country; anything to get rid of him because he is not a safe person to be around. He leaves with a smile smile, and is no sooner gone than he is back again in their presence, hanging
