The Comparison of Sexual and Violent Offenders

The purpose of this experiment is to gain a better understanding of how sexual offenders and violent offenders are both the same and different from one another. The experiment also wants to find out what types of factors contribute to the crimes the offenders commit like the uses of alcohol and the relationship of the victim to the offender. The crime committed, the age of the victim, the age of the offender, and the social skills of the offenders will compare a sample of 60 adult males offenders from a local facility. By gaining a better understanding of these crimes a more effective way to prevent these crimes may be developed.
