But most of his biggest games came against Alabama, which had consistently beat Auburn for years before Jackson came to school. In his freshman year, Jackson scored the winning touchdown in a 23-22 thriller over the Crimson Tide. That was their first win over the Tide in over ten years. His sophomore year he rushed for 256 yards against the Tide leading Auburn to a another close victory 23-20, with two runs of over 70 yards a piece. His junior and senior seasons were not so victorious, but his performances were. His junior year he posted 118 yards rushing and two touchdowns doing his part in trying to defeat Alabama. In 1985, Jackson closed out his regular season career, with a 31-yard carry, 142-yard, two touchdown day over the Tide, but suffered a loss 25-23.

Off the field Bo Jackson became a success as well. Life after sports has been good to him. He has become not only a sports icon but a entrepreneur also.
