Philosophy is the ability to think for your self and to stand alone in a conformist type society. Philosophy is an ethical choice of living you need to make it passionately and earnestly. Can someone put a definite or universal definition to philosophy? No because philosophy is an ambiguous term. Philosophy means something different to each and every individual. People can live a philosophical life by spending time questioning the everyday norms, by questioning authority and conformity of a lifestyle or culture, and by developing original ideas and thought for them selves. Philosophy has no merit and no external value, it will not make you wealthy, but it will give you character, and strength to make, decisions and it will make your inner being whole.
