Christianity Definition

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against the house; yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like the foolish man who built his house on sand. To better understand the aspects of Christianity, the religion must be compared to other religions. One religion, Judaism, is very similar to Christianity in its laws and values. However, Judaism does not believe that Christ was the son of God or that he performed various miracles. Eastern religions, such as Buddhism, don’t believe in the need for a personal savior or in an eternal life after death. This sharply contrasts with the teachings of Christianity.

To be a Christian, one has to love Christ and devote their lives to Him. A person cannot claim to be a Christian on Sundays, but then go out every night excessively parting. Instead, that person must put their life into Christ’s hands to be molded into one with Him as the focal point. He is always there to pray to or ask advice. Even though he may not verbally reply, he will always answer in your life-sometimes though, the answer may be “no.” This is not because the person is a bad Christ
