One of the major changes in society, which Gil Junger has shown in his film 10 Things I hate About You is how women in today’s society has changed for the better since its Elizabethan counterpart Taming Of The Shrew was written. One way that women have changed is that they now have so many more rights and are more independent; they receive equal opportunities to men in the work force and in the education system. They have the right to make their own choices instead of having their choices made for them and then forced on them by their fathers or husbands.
