Other is similar - ressemble?

From childhood, we learn that we must respect the other and treat him like our fellow man, a similar person. Nevertheless, we are in the obligation to ascertain that sometimes, inequalities and differences remain. It is then natural to ask ourselves: how can I consider the other like a similar person if he is different from me.
