Angel
Who I am now, is all because of a girl I met in my youth. Her name was Lindsey and she lived in the house next door to me for all of my youngest years. But it wasn’t until my 12th birthday that I finally met her. My mother had invited all the neighbors over, along with the list of school friends I presented her. It was a festive day, full of swimming in our pool, jumping on the trampoline, playing games of whiffle ball (one of the players included my dog), and of course running around the house driving all Near the end of the day, I was sitting on our porch trying to decide which of my gifts I should exploit first, when Lindsey approached me. A little chitchat and soon we were playing “Dinosaurs eating GI Joes”. Somehow we really clicked, and that was the start of our long lasting relationship. Through all of middle school it was a simple youthful relationship, spending most of our time at one or the other’s house playing games. But come the first year of high school, complicated thoughts and ideas came into play. We did not attend the same school, because I went to the one my older brother was at, and she with her older brother. It was convenient that we
get on with my life. My only hope is that someday, I can meet someone that intriguing offer. There was a huge party that her new Canadian friends were product, and a lot of alcohol.
