Scindler's list

Schindler's List is Steven Spielberg's award-winning masterpiece - a shocking and fact-based epic of the industrialist Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson), who saved Polish Jews during World War 2, by using them as workers in his factory. Schindler saved 1,100 Jews from certain death.

The movie re-creates a dark, frightening period during World War 2, when Jews in Nazi-occupied Krakow in Poland, were first put out of their businesses and homes, then placed in ghettos and forced labour camps in Plaszow, and finally resettled in concentration camps for execution.

The movie takes place in occupied Poland during World War 2 in the city of Krakow.

The year is 1939 and the Nazi German army had defeated the polish army in less than 2 weeks.

All Jews are put out of business, have no rights at all and are called in to live in ghettos

Because of the horror and cruelty in the movie, Schindler's List may cause viewers to cry, feel ill or even have nightmares.
