Loyalty is an important trait that can be maneuvered into a deadly weapon. “Joan of Arc was so intensely loyal that she fought for a country that was fighting against itself and against her with their own enemies. She was loyal to a king who, it must be said, did not appreciate her or for that matter, defend her as she defended him. However, just like David and King Saul, she remained loyal to her anointed sovereign as God commanded even when he was not loyal to her” (Frohlick).
