There are several things I learned in the time elapsed during this project. A lot, though not all, had to do with teamwork. There are many different problems that came out of working in a group that I had yet to experience. Also, starting with almost nothing and developing a final product brought many things to my attention that I had never thought about before.
Scheduling became a problem at a certain point of the project. At first, someone would miss a meeting and the group would understand. This did not pose a problem in the beginning. Eventually, though, questions began to arise as to why absences occurred. It turns out, some people feel it is valid to miss a meeting for certain reasons while others are dedicated enough do what they have to do to come. There is rarely a certain time when it is convenient for everyone to meet. This project tau
It is impossible to explain fully my learning experience on design in such a short paper, but I learned a lot of small things in this process. One of the main things learned was how to look ahead to how an individual decision can affect things later in the project. There were certain decisions the team deemed fairly unimportant that come back to haunt us. One of the main things that helped me in the design process was the house of quality. I did not realize how beneficial it would be to break the design down into such small aspect and weight how important each of these things are. This is mainly because I have not been challenged like this. That is, there has not been a project that has forced me to consciously compromise quality of certain aspect in order to not compromise other aspects as much. This project taught me a lot in the “give/take” asp
