In the first part of this paper I will discuss The Hindutva brand of politics, their organizational set up and their ideology. This is to get a better understanding of the second part of the paper.In the second part I have done the analysis of a part of an interview with The Gujarat chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi when he was chosen as the “Newsmaker of the Year” by “India Today” magazine (issue: December30, 2002). At the end of each answer I have tried to bring out the various techniques of persuasion and the usage of particular words (with propagandistic intent)by Mr.Modi.
