The J&K Peoples movement is not facing crisis today for the first time. It has gone through an even tumultUous phase in the past too. But what is peculiar now is that APHC’s problem is considered to be as people’s problem and the problem of the movement. But the truth is otherwise.The J&K People Movement can have three facets. One pro-India Parties, some wings amongst these parties may ask for its removal of Article 370 of the constitution of India and abrogation of the constitution of J&K and the laws and the rules passed thereunder. Autonomy is a slogan which is raised by the leaders of the National Conference only to make it possible for them to fleece the people and India simultaneously. The second school of thought thinks it that according to the partition plan of 1947 J&K should have become part of Pakistan. Their stand is that J&K could not get emerged in India for the last 56 years and it could not have an autonomous status so far. The party which will try to become a mass based party would not lay stress on a particular type of solution. But would be for peaceful solution of J&K and will like it to be done with the active participation of the people. Such a mass movement cannot afford to ignore the day to day problems of the people or any section of the people i.e. employment problem, schooling and admission in professional colleges food and supplies and arrests and interrogation and the fraudulent election and its effects upon the projection of people’s demands. They will have to explore all possiblities to reach out everyone. This will be a better way to serve people at large. This scenario demands that there should be a political party in J&K which will enrole each and every such persons as its basic member who will like to demand that the J&K problem cannot be solved unless and until the people of J&K are taken into confidence. No person can claim to be the J&K’s representative unless and until such a member would not raise the demand of solution of J&K problem and would not press for any particular solution of the problem.
