There are a plethora of people who decide to attend college. Many are going to further educate themselves to help their future endeavors. One easy way to group students who go to college would be to put them in four basic groups. The four basic groups consisting of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Each class has different things to do and different things to focus on.

The freshmen are the beginners of their new school. It is their first year and they are usually the most vulnerable and scared. As freshmen, many people take only the required classes for what they may be majoring in. The freshmen also receive the least luxurious items. They are stuck with the small and dirty dorms, along with having the most boring classes. Freshman year is the year to learn the ropes and meet new people to hang out with in the years to come. The four groups each have very different things to deal with. College is a place where many go for education and they go through all four years and experience everything. From freshman year as the scariest to senior year as the most rewarding, every year is different and more exciting than the last. Each group has distinctly different things about it and that is how people categorize them.

Junior year is the third year, which sometimes means that there will be only one more year of school to complete. By this time, the students who are juniors are more stable than the first two years. Juniors live off campus for the most part. Most people of the third year status already have had jobs for the first two years and know their way around campus and the town very well.
