            Should America Enforce the Gun Control Law?.
             Guns go back to our founding fathers of this eminent country. In the Bill of Rights it states, " We the people have the right to bare arms." Guns have saved and taken lives. It is not the gun who does the killing it is the person who pulls the trigger. Guns are good and bad in a way. The gun control law should not be enforced in America because of all the crimes that are going on, and for the safety of the people.
             Compared to other nations the United States has the highest death and crime rate in the world. Miss. Lawera told me that there are approximately two deaths in Toronto for every 200 deaths in America. The people in Toronto do not have the gun control law enforced in their country, which goes to show it is much safer than the United States. In China people are not allowed to have guns and yet the death and crime rate in China is much lower then the United States. Which goes to show perhaps the gun control law is a good idea. The question that puzzles a lot of people is " is it the governments fault or the peoples fault for all the crimes that are going on in the United States." .
             Than again in Australia the gun control law has been enforced and the crime rate there has increased. The Australian people are terrified of this new law because now the people have no weapons to protect them selves from criminals. About a year ago I remember seeing on CNN headline news an Australian resident complaining about the law he said, " once my house was about to be robbed by crooks and the only thing I had to protect my self was my shot gun."              The gun control law should not be enforced in America because every citizen should have the right to bare arms. The gun control law should not be enforced because for the safety of the people in the United States. If the gun control law is to be enforced the government will take the guns away from the licensed people and leave the criminals with the unlicensed guns.
