“Now or never” This phrase comes from a song by Three Days grace, and is connected to the never-ending battle between capitalism and communism. Adam smith can be noted as the father of capitalism, his theories of lazier faire are the ideologies of most capitalist economies. Communism is to now or never, as Capitalism is to Lazier Faire. Is government intervention in economy a good thing? Should the government regulate all the markets? What economy makes more, that of capitalists or that of communists? Communism is the main belief of collective ownership and organization of labor for the better of a society. Countries may be able to sell goods and services at a lower cost because the government regulates the market. In some countries communism can allow people to get jobs easier. Communism can allow a more stabilized country, politically, socially, and economically. On the other hand, in a communist society there may almost no motivation for the working class to improve their production rate. In communist countries there is a possibility that a group of people may rise against the power, but this can lead to powerful strikes against those who rise, this shows the communist power. This has been seen many times in the past, one group of people are upset with that of the government and it leads to armed struggles. One of many example of this can be seen on the date of January 22, 1905 in Russia. George Gapon led a protest on the winter palace, when they were there the troops let open fire on the crowd. This resulted in one hundred casualties, and three hundred wounded workers. A government shooting on its own people has been a common site in history, and it is not right, the people of one country should not be killed for standing up against something, But according to the communist ideologies there is to be no objection to the rule. This proves that a capitalist society is better then that of the communist society because in a capitalist society the country is run more privately then publicly. On the other hand, in a communist society there may be almost no motivation for the working class to improve their production rate. This can lead to the downfall of a countries economy; such an even can be seen in Russia. During the years of 1970- 1980 the Russian economic graph nearly halted, they were not losing money, but they were not gaining money. When the news hit the Russian people they started to lose interest in work and even to less, this on improved the problem at hand.
