The main reason I like this poem is the emotion it displays- the emotion of a woman. The poet expresses her love from materialistic to abstract things. From the day to day small needs her loves transcends time, and place. The poet even wants to live with his beloved if there is any life after death.

This poem is definitely a great protest for the women and what makes it so beautiful to me as a reader that at the same time it reveals how the women can prove themselves if they were given the same opportunity like men.
