pursuasive argument

Webster's dictionary describes "persuade"-as to move by argument, entreaty, or expostulation to a belief, position, or course of action. As I see it, a person with beliefs which can be changed by a single person must have the brain capacity of a monkey. If their views are changed so easily, they obviously lack strong conviction in their beliefs anyway. Now I know that there are people who specialize in changing beliefs, conviction and ideas with only a few words, but I would not allow my own views to be changed unless it was something that I knew nothing about in the beginning and, consequently, held no strong opinions about.

During this assignment one thing became very clear to me- I lack concern for many things that plague our world. I don't seem to have many views on big issues in the world.
